"Wanted to share an update from around a month after this post. Rico was left at the shelter to finish his meds and posted online in PR in case he had a family there and he was a missing dog. I didn't want to bring him back to the States in case he belonged to someone. Because I was able to bring 2 pups to NJ, it cleared up a spot for Rico. A month or so later, Rico was on a freedom flight (we called that in Bahrain for the shelter dogs flying to 🇺🇸&🇨🇦) to LI, NY. He was then adopted by a family on LI & is a happy boy! "
